Lighthouse Point is a city in Broward County, Florida, United States. The city was named for the Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse, which in fact is located in Hillsboro Beach, not Lighthouse Point. As of 1 July 2006, the population estimated by the U.S. Census Bureau is 11,282. The city is part of the South Florida metropolitan area, which is home to 5,463,857 people.

The racial makeup of the city was 97.05% White (93.5% were Non-Hispanic White,) 0.43% African American, 0.15% Native American, 0.79% Asian, 0.01% Pacific Islander, 0.42% from other races, and 1.16% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.18% of the population.
