To begin your Real Estate Searching adventure, feel free to use this checklist to help guide you and make the most of your experience. Start your experience on the main page (http://www.clrsearch.com). Simply enter in a City and State, or enter the zip code of the area you want to search in and click Search. If you do not know where you would like to go, click on the CLR Road Trip link at the bottom and take a trip across the USA by State, County, and City. If you plan on saving properties, having us e-mail listings that match your specific search criteria or setting up an RSS feed, now would be a good time to register or sign in. Click on the Login/Register link in the header and follow the prompts. We only require an e-mail address and a password of your choosing, we do not sell or distribute this information. When you've found "the perfect search" that brings up all the properties in your comfort zone, you can save it for future use. Simply click on Save Search Criteria in the search box under the map. If you haven't already done so, you will be prompted to login for existing users, or register if you are a first timer. Once you are logged in, you can go to Check My Settings in the header, and review your saved properties, manage your RSS feed or turn "on" or "off" the e-mailing of new properties that match your search criteria. If you would rather not save your settings on the site, and would like an RSS feed instead, click on the RSS feed for this Search and enter it into your favorite RSS Reader. After your search is completed, you can view the demographics for the area by clicking on the demographics link underneath the search box, or to dig deeper into one of the properties in your search results simply click on the CLR ID or Listing Details of the property to view the details of that property. The Demographics area allows you to review information about the area where you have chosen a listing. The default view shows the town or city where your listings are located, followed by details for the State and USA as a whole. If you would like to compare another city, simply enter it in the Compare City box and the state data is replaced for easy comparison of this new city to your listing city. Keep searching until you find that property that is just right for you.
